At Capa First Response CIC, we understand the challenges that come with child-to-parent aggression and harmful behaviours. We know that families often feel isolated, judged, and misunderstood. That’s why we offer free specialist, tailored support for parents and carers of children—including neuro-diverse young people up to 25yrs.
We don’t use the term ‘abuse’ because we recognise that these behaviours stem from complex factors, rather than intent to harm. Through early intervention and pro-social modelling, we help parents regain confidence and support all children develop healthier ways to express themselves.
For professionals seeking support, we provide expert guidance ensuring that families receive the understanding and interventions they need.

Our Vision:
To stop harmful and/or aggressive behaviour in the home from a child or adolescent towards a parent or caregiver; For no parent or caregiver to feel alone in their experience and for whole families to have access to the support they need to improve their family situation.
Our Mission:
To facilitate development of a nation-wide network of consistent, accessible, quality support for families, and to raise awareness amongst families and professionals around children/adolescents who use harmful and/or aggressive behaviour towards a parent/carer.
