Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
Our focus on equality, diversity and inclusion sits at the heart of everything we do. As a relatively young organisation, we are now in a position to understand our reach into communities through the data we collect. This has enabled us to understand our impact from an EDI perspective, and our current plans reflect our desire to diversify our own infrastructure and practice to be more inclusive.
We are currently piloting a new approach called the Capa Tour- taking the Capa Model and way of working out to communities; enabling us to develop our contacts in geographical areas, acknowledging and responding to diversity through grassroots collaboration with ‘by and for’ organisations, extending the impact of our training, and direct family support approach.
